Open Strip Heater

Construction
Have open circuits consisting of coiled resistance wire that heat the medium directly. This type of heating coil is used with ceramic tube & ceramic insulators for mounting support and insulation.

Applications :

• Used predominantly in the duct heating industry, open coil elements have open circuits that heat air directly from the suspended resistive coils.
• Ribbon/strip heating elements are used where higher watts/sq. in. are required
• Air heating application by convection or high temperature furnace application
